Our Ministry Affiliations

To reach all people with the gospel in our state, nation, and world, it will take more than any one church could ever accomplish alone. Therefore, we have a number of associations and networks that we cooperate with for the sake of gospel ministry.

  • Southern Baptist Convention

The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) is a body of like-minded local churches cooperating together to reach the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. There are currently more than than fifty thousand Southern Baptist cooperating churches and church-type missions.

As a church, we contribute 4% of our annual budget toward the Cooperative Program. (To learn more about the Cooperative Program, see “South Carolina Baptist Convention” below.)

  • South Carolina Baptist Convention

The South Carolina Baptist Convention (SCBaptist) is a family of more than 2,100 churches working together to advance the Great Commission. We mobilize missionaries and develop leaders so that every life will be saturated and transformed by the hope of the Gospel.

Our church, along with all SBC churches, contributes to the Cooperative Program (CP). When our church sends its CP contribution to the South Carolina Baptist Convention, a portion of the funds are delineated to SCBaptist missions, ministries, and programs, including the South Carolina Baptist universities, while the remaining portion is forwarded on to the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC).

The SBC distributes CP funds to the International Mission Board, North American Mission Board, theological seminaries, and more, to mobilize resources that bear witness across North America and to the ends of the earth.

As a church, we contribute 4% of our annual budget toward the Cooperative Program.

  • Kershaw Baptist Association

The Kershaw Baptist Association is our local county association of the Southern Baptist Convention. It is comprised of 46 local churches in Kershaw County and surrounding areas.

As a church, we contribute 1% of our annual budget to the KBA.

  • North American Mission Board

The Church is God’s plan—you are God’s plan—to reach North America and the nations with the hope of the gospel, and the North American Mission Board is here to help, through church planting, compassion ministry, evangelism, chaplaincy and more.

A portion of our Cooperative Program giving (to the Southern Baptist Convention) is distributed to NAMB.

  • International Mission Board

The IMB serves Southern Baptists in carrying out the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations.

A portion of our Cooperative Program giving (to the Southern Baptist Convention) is distributed to the IMB.

  • The Pillar Network

The Pillar Network is a community of SBC & International Baptist Churches that are doctrinally aligned, missionally driven, & committed to equipping, planting, & revitalizing churches, together.

As a church, we contribute 1% of our annual budget to the Pillar Network.

  • House Church Network

Collectively, the leadership of House Church Network have over 40 years of ministry experience, ranging from church plants to mega churches, and 20 years of leading a Church of House Churches and multiplying hundreds of House Churches. We are building a community of like-minded churches who are pursuing the biblical ecclesiology to be a Church of House Churches together.

As a church, we do not regularly contribute funds to the HCN, but we have benefitted from training and resources they provide.
