And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus.
The church we see in the Scriptures not only gathered corporately by the hundreds on Sunday, but they met by the dozens in houses. In 2025, we are seeking to build community and grow as disciples of Jesus by launching House Churches. These smaller expressions of the church are characterized by:
House Church Pastors will be raised up from among the people in the church. A biblically-qualified elder available for all the people.
The life of God’s people is not centered around one sacred space or leader. Community & discipleship happens in homes and not just on Sunday mornings.
Gathering geographically forces all kinds of diversity (generational, socio-economic, ethnic, stage of life, spiritual maturity, spiritual giftedness, etc). A diverse people living unified as family.
We have launched several House Churches already, but still more have people interested than qualified elders to lead them. This is a good problem to have, but it’s still a problem! It means we cannot accommodate everyone until we have trained & commissioned more House Church Pastors (which is not a quick process).
If interested, please sign up to be placed on our waiting list. In the meantime, we will send you suggestions to help you get connected & growing as you wait.
In late 2024, we had a brief two-week sermon series called His Mission, Our Mission. We talked about the big picture vision of House Church, as well as the nuts and bolts of what House Churches would look like at Redemption. If you’re interested in knowing why we have moved in this direction, please check it out!
