Discipleship Groups
Discipleship groups are groups of 3-4 men or women pursuing Christlikeness together.
What are discipleship groups?
We are called to be disciple-making disciples. Disciples are those who know, love, and follow Jesus. This process of spiritual growth leads to us becoming increasingly more like Christ, and investing in others to help them do the same. This is how we (as individuals and as the body of Christ) grow and multiply!
Discipleship groups are 3-4 men or women pursuing Christlikeness together.
Groups function within the tension of both structure and freedom. This includes meeting regularly, but at times & locations that are convenient for the group members. It includes utilizing some content selected by the Elders, but also choosing some content selected by the group members themselves.
How do I learn more, join, or start a group?
The first step is to attend a DG Start-Up Session. The purpose of this 90-minute session is to both explain & equip.
-We will explain more details about Discipleship Groups. What is a discipleship group? What does a group do? How do I start or join a group?
-We will provide a loose but structured framework to equip you in starting or leading a group. This information & training will not be extensive, but will give you primarily what you need to get moving! We can always provide more help, coaching, and guidance along the way, but we want the start-up process to be as simple and helpful as possible.
